Training progress for emergency medical technicians – structured learning assessment during internships.
Resvio is a web application for measuring the training progress of M3 interns and new EMT trainees in emergency medical services. Trainees document their learning status in a clear checklist; trainers and clinical instructors keep an overview of all participants, can accompany progress, evaluate it and steer training as needed.
Resvio is aimed at EMS organisations and training teams that want to accompany internship content transparently:
The goal is traceable learning assessment – without paperwork and with a clear overview of open and completed items until the end of the internship.
The checklist maps training content in a hierarchical topic structure. Each learning step can be marked with status levels – e.g. "explained", "practised", "mastered" or "applied with patients". Overall progress is shown as a percentage and graphically; an internship timeline shows remaining time until the end of the internship.
Trainers and clinical instructors see an overview of all M3 interns and EMT trainees with overall progress and internship timeline. The detail view allows tracing entries per day; statuses set by trainers are locked for trainees and clearly marked as externally set.
Admin, clinical instructor (PAL), trainer and M3 intern/EMT trainee have graduated rights: from full system administration through training and user management to a restricted personal area for learners. Self-registration with internship end date is available for trainees.
Configurable statistics with filters by status, date, roles, topics and users support quality assurance in training. Open items can be exported as PDF; training content can be imported via CSV (admin).
Resvio runs as a classic server application with PHP and MariaDB. Access is via the browser – also usable on mobile; the production instance is available on its own subdomain.
